Colleges are keeping tabs on WR Keyes

Wide receiver Denzel Keyes has one offer to date. The 6-foot-4, 200-pounder is waiting patiently as colleges want to see more this summer.
"I have one offer from Old Dominion," he said. "It's a great school and they have very nice facilities. Their football program is only three years old, so it's pretty nice."

Aside from Old Dominion, Keyes is getting looks from Western Carolina, North Carolina, Duke, Charlotte and a number of schools from the Ivy League.
"They are all just saying they are interested and to keep working hard," he said. "They want me at their one-day camps to see me play. I'm making a couple plans, but I don't have any specific schools in mind."
Obviously visits are coming for Keyes, so what does he want to see on his trips?
"I want to know what type of city it is in," he said. "I want them to have my major, engineering or chemistry. Basically, I'm looking for a good environment and a good sports program. Location is not a big deal to me."
Keyes posted approximately 200-yards receiving and nine touchdowns including a pair of game-winning touchdowns as a junior. He added 20 tackles and four interceptions on defense as he was first team all-conference.
"I'm aggressive off the line and I adjust to the ball when it's in the air," he said. "I can go up and get it with my size."
A talented basketball player as well, Keyes is receiving looks from the likes of Appalachian State, SC State, Radford, Presbyterian, UNC-Greensboro and has one offer in basketball from Mount Olive.
