More trips are coming for the tight end prospect.
"I'm going to visit Purdue in the next couple weeks, West Virginia for their spring game along with Elon, Marshall and Old Dominion."
A few other schools including Wisconsin, Arkansas, Wake Forest and Duke have taken an interest as well.
Tulsa is just one of four schools that have caught the West Virginia prospect's attention early.
"I like Tulsa a lot along with Purdue, West Virginia and south Carolina," he said. "All of them are good engineering schools. West Virginia is just so close too. I know a lot of people that go there."
An impressive 3.8 student, Clay earned first team all-conference and second team all-state after hauling in 20 receptions for 278-yards and four touchdowns.
