1. JACOB BREELAND, Oregon

Breeland is Oregon’s top receiver at this point, but everybody should drop him in fantasy leagues since he sustained a leg injury and will miss the rest of the season. It’s a tough blow because he was the top target for quarterback Justin Herbert and he had 26 catches for 405 yards and six touchdowns so far this season. He led all tight ends by far in fantasy points, but it looks over for this year.

2. KYLE PITTS, Florida

Seven Florida receivers have 13 catches or more, but Pitts leads the way and he’s a favorite target of quarterback Kyle Trask. Pitts has 30 catches for 362 yards and three touchdowns and he’s been targeted often in recent weeks. Other than Georgia in a couple weeks, Florida’s schedule is favorable and Pitts is owned in only 62 percent of leagues.

3. BREVIN JORDAN, Miami

Miami is still working through quarterback issues, but Jordan is having a strong year with 25 catches for 417 yards (averaging nearly 17 yards per catch) but he only has two touchdowns in six games. Receivers K.J. Osborn, Jeff Thomas and Mike Harley are getting their fair share of passes and that hurts Jordan, but he’s still the top target on the ‘Canes offense.

4. BRYCEN HOPKINS, Purdue

There has been a lot of turmoil on Purdue’s offense this season with quarterback Elijah Sindelar out because of injury and star receiver Rondale Moore sidelined with a leg injury recently, but that could actually help Hopkins get the ball more. Hopkins had 10 catches for 140 yards in Purdue’s blowout over Maryland last weekend, but Iowa’s defense should be a much bigger challenge this weekend.

5. ALBERT OKWUEGBUNAM, Missouri

The Missouri tight end has only 16 catches so far this season - tied for No. 14 in the country - and only 240 receiving yards, but Okwuegbunam has five TD catches and that puts him fifth nationally in fantasy points among tight ends. The only tight end in the country with more tight ends is Breeland (6) and he’s out for the year. I would expect Okwuegbunam gets many more opportunities in the second half of the season.
