CLASS OF 2021 RANKINGS: Rivals100 | Position | Team | State

1. SAM HOWELL, North Carolina

Owned in only eight percent of fantasy leagues, Howell is No. 12 in all fantasy points among quarterbacks and has scored more than Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, Oregon’s Justin Herbert and many other veteran quarterbacks. A former Florida State commit who flipped to North Carolina soon after Mack Brown was named coach, Howell has thrown for 1,892 yards with 20 touchdowns and three interceptions. That’s just as many TD passes as Oklahoma’s Jalen Hurts, the fantasy leader among all quarterbacks.

2. BO NIX, Auburn

Nix is among the top-25 quarterbacks in the fantasy game with 1,301 yards with 11 touchdowns and five interceptions so far and it helps the former five-star QB that he is also tied for second on the team with three rushing scores.

The top-rated pro-style quarterback in the class and one of only two five-star QBs last recruiting cycle, Nix won the starting job in the preseason and has helped Auburn to a top-10 ranking. It’s going to be a challenge at LSU this weekend and then Georgia and Alabama are coming up as well, so it could be a tough stretch for the Tigers’ offense.

3. JAYDEN DANIELS, Arizona State

Even though Arizona State was held to just three points in its loss at Utah, Daniels is still a top-25 quarterback in the fantasy game. The former high four-star quarterback who picked Arizona State over Utah, Cal and UCLA has thrown for 1,635 yards with only eight touchdowns and two picks and he’s rushed for two more scores. Daniels has thrown for more yards than Lawrence, Ohio State’s Justin Fields and many others.

4. JOHN RHYS PLUMLEE, Ole Miss

A three-star out of Hattiesburg (Miss.) Oak Grove who was originally committed to Georgia, Plumlee has been a nice addition to the Ole Miss quarterback room and has been a great dual-threat option in the offense. With more fantasy points than Wisconsin’s Jack Coan, Georgia’s Jake Fromm and many others, Plumlee, who’s owned in just four percent of leagues, has only 456 yards with four touchdowns and a pick but his rushing numbers especially stand out. The Ole Miss QB has 508 rushing yards and four TDs, second in the nation behind only Oklahoma’s Jalen Hurts.

5. GARRETT SHRADER, Mississippi State

Owned in just one percent of leagues, Shrader does not really have impressive passing numbers with 828 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions, but his rushing numbers have been great with 440 yards and three scores. Those numbers on the ground are good for fourth nationally behind Hurts, Plumlee and Oklahoma State’s Spencer Sanders. That’s pretty good company for the former four-star QB.
