It is already Week 9 of college football. Here is a look at five quarterbacks you should consider starting in your fantasy leagues:

Nebraska finally got its first win of the season over the weekend when the Huskers obliterated Minnesota, 53-28. Martinez was a big reason why as he completed 25 of 29 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for another 125 yards and a score. This weekend Nebraska hosts Bethune-Cookman and the 1-6 Huskers are not good enough to overlook any team. The Wildcats are giving up more than 30 points per game and have allowed 20 rushing scores - and this is against teams like Tennessee State, North Carolina A&T and South Carolina State. The Huskers should move the ball with ease.

The Buffs face an Oregon State defense that gave up 49 points to a subpar Cal offense last week. It will be crucial to watch if star receiver Laviska Shenault returns this week from injury, but even without him, Montez and the Buffaloes should roll. The Beavers are simply outmatched right now - giving up more than 47 points this season on the ground and through the air. After struggling against USC and Washington, Colorado should roll big and Montez could put up big numbers.

Book had an up-and-down performance in a close call against Pitt, 19-14, two weekends ago so he should be itching to get the offense moving and to keep the Irish in College Football Playoff contention. Navy should be outmatched. The Midshipmen gave up 413 passing yards and three touchdowns to Houston quarterback D’Eriq King this past weekend and Book is a much more potent passing threat. Plus, Notre Dame’s defense has had two weeks to prepare for Navy’s unique offensive attack. The Irish should be focused and prepared and Book should pour it on.

In a national showdown against Washington State, Cougar quarterback Gardner Minshew got the better of Herbert, but he’s still arguably the top quarterback in college football and could be poised for a massive comeback this weekend. Arizona’s defense allowed 307 passing yards and three touchdowns to UCLA on Saturday night and the Bruins’ offensive attack has been abysmal this season. Herbert should get back to putting up huge numbers and the Ducks should cruise against Arizona.

Virginia is not even averaging 28 points per game, but Perkins is putting up impressive numbers both through the air and running the ball and it’s why he’s one of the top fantasy scorers at his position. Ranked among the top-20 quarterbacks nationally in fantasy points, Perkins has thrown for 1,406 yards with 12 touchdowns and he’s second on the team with 463 rushing yards and five scores. North Carolina has given up 40 or more points in two of the last three weeks. While I don’t expect the Cavaliers to score that much, Perkins should be able to put up big stats.
