There are a lot of big names in fantasy football that were expected to put up huge numbers and owned in a high percentage of leagues, but have not performed up to this point. Here is a look at five wide receivers who are not delivering big returns yet.

Owned in 91 percent of leagues, Johnson was supposed to be one of the biggest, baddest receivers in college football this season. But he’s been sidelined with a hamstring injury for two games and has only seven catches for 108 yards and one touchdown. The Texas offense hasn’t missed a step and there is a chance Johnson is back this weekend for the West Virginia game, but because of his injury his production is way, way down.

TCU is scoring points but working in a freshman quarterback has slowed the passing attack in some ways and Reagor has been on the bad end of it. He has only 11 catches for 117 yards and a touchdown so far this season even though the Horned Frogs have scored 39, 34, 38 and 51 in their first four games. Owned in 96 percent of leagues, Reagor should see the ball more often, especially since he had 72 catches last season.

Ross had a phenomenal freshman season with 46 catches for 1,000 yards and nine touchdowns. In four games this season his receptions and yards are fine but he’s only scored one touchdown so far. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence is not playing his best football right now with only eight touchdowns and five picks, but that should be straightened out and the Tigers’ offense will be humming. They have so many weapons but Ross, who’s owned in 96 percent of leagues, should be just fine.

Shenault was one of the top receivers in the fantasy game last season - and now he’s third on his own team in stats. So far, Shenault has 17 catches for 226 yards and two touchdowns and this is with the Buffaloes playing two overtime games. He also has one rushing touchdown, but Colorado is spreading the ball around and has a better running attack than expected, so Shenault’s numbers are nowhere close to what they were a year ago when he had 86 catches.

Vasher has 19 receptions and 248 receiving yards in four games – not too bad – but he has only two touchdowns and is not among the top 75 receivers in the fantasy game. It probably won’t get much better with Texas Tech quarterback Alan Bowman sidelined with an injury for a good deal of time. Owned in 82 percent of leagues, Vasher has not been delivering as expected.
