Coleman taking visits
Beaumont (Texas) Westbrook defensive end Jacody Coleman is having quite the successful shift to a new position.
Coleman, the 6-foot-2, 229-pound defender, has moved over to the middle linebacker position. At that spot, he's racked up tackles and even a new offer. That raises the question: Is Coleman looking around after committing to Baylor?

"I'm committed to Baylor, but I'm going to weigh out my options," Coleman said. "I never went to any schools that far out of state. I'm checking that out and I'm going to take some visits.
"I've got two set up right now. Missouri is going to be on Dec. 15. I think I've got Iowa all set for Dec. 1."
Coleman says that he's also been in contact recently with Virginia Tech, Florida, Clemson, and others. The new offer from Iowa just came from reaction to a game tape that Coleman sent to the Hawkeye staff.
"I sent it up there, the recruiting coordinator liked it and the defensive coordinator liked it," Coleman said. "They said they wanted to offer me after seeing that. My stock is rising because I think I fit better as an inside linebacker."
