It's decision time for Beaumont (Texas) Westbrook defensive end Jacody Coleman. The speedy defensive end apparently has his mind made up and will announce his decision at a press conference towards the end of this week.
Coleman, the 6-foot-2, 229-pound defensive specialist had picked up offers from SMU, UTEP, Missouri, Iowa State, and Baylor. Three of those schools have made the cut for his announcement and Coleman says he already knows who the school is.
"It's down to Baylor, Missouri, and Iowa State," Coleman said. "They're all equal out in the open, but I kind of have an idea of who it might be in my mind. I just want to see how it goes the next few days before I decide."
Coleman says he's working on nailing down the scheduling for his press conference. He says there is no set day or time on the table.
"It's supposed to be this week," Coleman said. "I just don't know what day or time. It's looking like Friday right now. It should be then, but I'm just setting that up still.
"It's about me getting my decision out of the way, but I know who it is so I'm kind of ready to get that out."
Coleman had 82 tackles as a junior and was a first-team all-district member for his performance.
