Cole narrows field to three, names leader

Trotwood (Ohio) Madison defensive lineman Nate Cole plans to take two more official visits before he selects a college.
"Toledo's the only visit I've been on," Cole said. "I have Louisville Jan. 20 and Central Florida Jan. 13. I'm just looking at those three."

Cole has had a scholarship offer on the table from Toledo for some time.
"Central Florida has offered now," he said. "Louisville is probably going to offer too. They said they are not going to bring me down if they aren't going to offer."
Cole says all three schools continue to stay in contact.
"I talked to Central Florida and Toledo this week," he said. "But I missed Louisville."
When asked if he has a leader, Cole said, "Toledo is probably my favorite. I went on the visit and really liked it. I know some players there and I like the coaching staff."
The 6-foot-1 and 271 pound Cole averaged seven tackles per game during his senior season. He registered seven sacks in 10 games.
