Cole makes decision on final trip

After over a week of speculation about four-star athlete William Cole's official visit plans this weekend, it looks like the Rivals250 prospect has made a decision.
According to Cole's head coach, Joey McGuire, the 5-foot-10, 165-pounder has decided that he will not take a previously planned visit to either Texas A&M, Arizona, or Oklahoma. McGuire said Thursday evening that Cole feels good about his choice and he's not letting anybody in on where he's going until his Sunday evening announcement.

"I talked to him today in my office and he said, 'Coach, I've got three choices and I feel good,'" McGuire said. "He's made up his mind on the choice but he won't let anyone in on the secret.
"Unless something else changes or someone talks him into some last minute trip, he's staying home this weekend and will announce on Sunday between Kansas, Arkansas, and OSU."
All three of the remaining schools for Cole have had coaches by for in-home visits this week. Arkansas coach Houston Nutt was by earlier in the week. Kansas coach Tim Beck was also by within the last two days and coach Mike Gundy is in-home with Cole this evening.
"All three of the coaches, as far as his final three go, have been by," McGuire said about Cole's in-home visitors. "Gundy is the last one I imagine."
Cole will make his live television announcement on KDFW-Fox 4 in Dallas on Sunday, Feb. 4, around 10:00 p.m.
