Cole in the midst of official visits

Saginaw (Mich.) Heritage athlete Brian Cole is a Michigan commit who is set to graduate next month, but before enrolling in college the four-star prospect is taking his five official visits.
Cole took the first of those five official visits to Wisconsin the weekend of Oct. 10. The second official visit took place just this past weekend to Purdue and his father talked this week about the experiences at both schools.

"I thought they were pretty good visits," Brian Cole Sr. said. "They really showed us a good time and told us where they would like to use Brian. There are some good opportunities at both locations for him. It was good to get information to evaluate and take a look at."
The next official visit on Cole's calendar will be to Nebraska the weekend of Nov. 21. A trip to Ohio State is also planned for December and the fifth official visit slot will go to Michigan.
"We are going to go to Michigan sometime in between all of that, too, on an official," Brian Cole Sr. said. "It's going to be before January because Brian is going to be done with high school on the 19th (of December)."
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Cole has been recruited to play defensive back, running back and wide receiver by schools thus far in his recruiting process. Michigan recruited him for wide receiver, but other schools on his official visit slate look to use him at different positions.
"Wisconsin wants him as a running back," Cole's father said. "Purdue wants to use him like they use Akeem Hunt, so they both actually like him in the backfield and like the way he runs the ball. Nebraska wants him to play safety, and they've made that pretty clear."
Which position he will play at the next level, and at what school he will play it, will be known by the time Cole suits up for the Under Armour All-American Game on Jan. 2 in St. Petersburg, Fla.
