Coffman picks up another big offer

After already having offers from Iowa and Missouri, it looks like one of the Show Me State’s top players has picked up another Big 12 scholarship offer.
“I now have offers from Missouri, Iowa and Kansas State,” Peculiar (Mo.) Raymore-Peculiar tight end Chase Coffman, who is 6-foot-6 and 210 pounds, said. “My top teams are Missouri, Iowa, Kansas State, Arizona State and Arkansas.”

What is significant about the offer from K-State is that Coffman’s father, Paul Coffman, played for the Wildcats before heading off to the NFL to play for the Green Bay Packers.
Coffman said the school’s passing game, academics and location will be key when it comes time to make a decision. He had 50 receptions for 813 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior.
“I enjoy catching the ball and the contact,” Coffman said.
