Coffeyville WR makes pick

Larry Ford wasn't the only player that made a commitment at Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College here recently. Three-star receiver Bryant Williams is also off the market now.
"Bryant committed to New Mexico here this week," Coffeyville assistant Rico Cherico said.

"He was recruited by Dave Baldwin. He was OC at Michigan State, and he coached a bunch of our former players, so he knows what you get when you get a Coffeyville receiver."
Williams was also recruited by Kansas, Kansas State and several other Mountain West and WAC schools.
"Bryant has already taken his visit out there, and he loved it," Cherico said. "He went out there on our bye weekend, and he felt it was just the right place for him."
Ford, a four-star defensive end, committed to West Virginia earlier today after picking up a scholarship offer from the Mountaineers on Friday. He will visit WVU on Nov. 30.
"Larry was already also set up to take official visits to North Carolina and Ole Miss," Cherico said.
"But when a program like West Virginia offers you a chance to play for a program that's always going to be in the national title hunt, you can't turn it down."
