Cobb unsure of signing day plans

With National Signing Day set for Wednesday, several prospects still do not know their college destinations. As schools evaluate the uncommitted prospects left on their boards, they have to make decisions on whether to take other players in their stead.
One such player that seems to be caught up in the waiting game a bit is Killeen (Texas) Ellison running back David Cobb. The 5-foot-11, 205-pound Central Texas standout has been a known name for quite some time but, with two days left before signing day, he is still unsure of his plans.

"I'm really not sure what I'm going to be doing just yet," Cobb said of signing day. "I don't know if I'm going to sign anywhere right now. I might end up waiting."
Cobb recently took his first official visit of the process to an in-state program.
"I took one official visit to Texas State," he said. "That was earlier this month. That's the only one I've been on. It went pretty well. I liked what I saw there."
Cobb is still in contact with a couple of Conference USA schools, though, and the three-star prospect may wait to see their campuses before deciding where to continue his football career.
"Right now, the schools that are still after me, I'm looking at Memphis and Houston in addition to Texas State," he said. "I've talked to coaches from both those schools and they're still recruiting me. I may visit both of those places after signing day."
