Coaches flocking to see Peckich

McKees Rocks (Pa.) Montour has been home to plenty of talented prospects over the years and junior cornerback Phil Peckich has to be included in that discussion.
Peckich has established himself as one of the top cornerbacks in the Keystone State from the Class of 2010 and he is hoping that offers start to come in before too long.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound corner has watched as a steady stream of coaches have come by the school to check him out recently.
"The recruiting process has been crazy, but I expected that," he explained. "Last year I was around and talking to one of my better friends and teammates, E.J. Banks.
"Last week was a busy week. Coach Butler from Minnesota, coach Tresey from Cincinnati, coach Pry from Illinois, coach Gibboney from Purdue and coach Gattuso from Pitt were all in to our school.
"All of those schools have given me some dates to come to their schools for basketball games and stuff like that."
Pitt has invited Peckich to their Junior Day on February 14 and he plans on attending that event. He will also be attending a Junior Day at Toledo on February 28.
He went on to say he does not yet have any favorites.
