Coaches coming to see Texas OL

Allen, Texas offensive lineman J.D. Walton has already taken one official visit, but the real fun begins tonight as the Walton home will host five coaches in the next four days.
“I took an official visit to Colorado State two weeks ago (Nov. 19),” the 6-foot-2, 288-pound Walton said. “That was my first trip. It was good. It was real nice up there.

They aren’t having a great year, but they are all young. The program is on the upswing, though. They don’t lose many players off of this year’s team.”
Up next for Walton will be a trip to Utah Dec. 3. The two-star rated lineman will travel to Iowa State the next weekend (Dec. 10) and to Arizona State the next week (Dec. 17).
“I have one more visit to schedule, yet,” he said. “I’m talking to SMU some and I was up at one of their games earlier this year. I may take a visit there.”
Walton will begin visiting with coaches tonight in his family’s home.
“I have the SMU coaches coming by this afternoon,” he said. “Then later on tonight, I will have Arizona State in. Tomorrow Iowa State will be coming by. Tuesday, Utah will be here and then Wednesday, Colorado State will be in to see us.”
