Paramus Catholic head coach Chris Partridge said 2014 wide receiver Tyrone Washington still has three offers from Rutgers, Buffalo and UMass. He is one of a number of recruits seeing his recruitment move.
"He's getting a lot of MAC interest now and then. Schools like Temple and Pittsburgh are checking him out," Partridge said. "Pittsburgh was here yesterday. I know they are taking one more defensive back and he is high on their board."
Partridge claims his seniors are pushing visits back until after the season and added that he doesn't believe Washington has a favorite at this time.
Partridge also discussed his other recruits including 2014 quarterback Steve Shanley who has offers from Buffalo, Central Michigan, Akron, James Madison, Elon and most of the Ivy League.
"He's got a lot of interest coming in and with the way he's performing this year, his interest will pick up a lot," Partridge said.
According to Partridge, 2014 defensive end Marcus Pantoja still holds one offer from Army, while defensive lineman Nick Flores and running back Keyon Washington have yet to nab an offer, but are getting looks from Marshall, Eastern Michigan, Temple, Tulane, Syracuse and Connecticut.
He noted one more player to watch in 2014 kicker Matt Golabek , who hit a 50-yard field goal last week.
"He's going to be a Division I kicker and he'll probably get offers," Partridge said. "He just has had no interest because he hasn't had any film."
