CO lineman has in-state favorite

At the NIKE Camp in Colorado a year ago, one of the top offensive lineman we saw was Parker (Colo.) Chapparel's Jack Harris. Harris has one offer on the table and is hearing from a host of schools from all over the country.
Harris looked very good in Boulder last summer and stacked up very well against the competition despite being just a rising junior at the time. The lineman has put on about 20 pounds since the camp and is now a solid 6-6, 270 pounds.

Harris has an ideal frame to play tackle in college and has good feet and overall athleticism as well. He'll need to continue to get stronger and more physical to excel at the next level but the tools are there.
On the recruiting front, Harris is hearing from schools from coast to coast right now.
"Colorado has offered me and they're my top school right now," Harris said. "I'm also hearing from Florida, Florida State, Kansas State, Vandy, Tennessee, Stanford, Washington State, Oregon, Georgia Tech and Colorado State.
"Along with Colorado, I also like Stanford, Colorado State, Florida and Vandy. I'm looking for a school with a strong coaching staff and a location where I'll be comfortable. I plan on attending the NIKE Camp in Utah in June and may also attend team camps at Colorado, Kansas State and Vandy."
Academically, Harris is carrying a 2.9 GPA and will take the SAT later in the year. He would like to major in Sports Medicine in college.
