Cleveland keeps everyone guessing, picks Gators
Rivals100 wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland has been the subject of much discussion over the last few weeks. Many thought he might make a Signing Day flip, but the question of where he would go was heavily debated.
Signing Day is here and as many thought, the Houston Westfield standout will not be a Houston Cougar, he’s headed to Gator country.
RIVALS’ REACTION: Cleveland kept everyone guessing all the way to the end. There was some steam for Arkansas after his visit, TCU was running hot, but by Signing Day it was Florida who seemed primed to land his commitment. He definitely kept everyone in suspense, and the Gators get a big time playmaker.
PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Cleveland is a big receiver with speed and quickness. He’s a guy who can be a slot or step to an outside receiver spot. He has great body control, and he adjusts well to the ball without slowing down,. He is also a guy who has the vertical and length to get up and catch some passes others just cannot reach.
