Cleveland enjoys College Station

Houston (Texas) Westfield four-star wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland returned to College Station during the week. It has been a little while since his last visit to Texas A&M, and the Aggie commitment was more than happy to make it back.
"It was great," Cleveland said. "First of all it was great to get down there again. It's been a minute since I'd been down there. To see all the new stuff they have and to talk to the coaches. Me and the receivers coach we had a good time talking. We talked with coach Sumlin a little bit. We just went around and had meetings and things like that."

It was an important visit especially since Cleveland and coach Moorehead have not had many chances to meet. The visit to College Station was the second time Cleveland has been able to meet coach Moorehead, and the meeting went well.
"It was good for me to try and build chemistry with the receivers coach because at the end of the day that's who is going to be coaching me," Cleveland said. "He told me he was fired up about me and he was ready for me to get down there and compete. He's very intelligent."
The visit was also important because Cleveland's teammate and friend Dillon Sterling-Cole was also on the visit.
"He was shocked at the stuff he saw and the stuff they told him that was going to happen," Cleveland said. "He was just happy to be down there and enjoy himself. It was a good thing with us both being down there."
Before the visit Cleveland felt his commitment was strong at 75 to 80-percent. After the visit his status remains unchanged.
"It's still the same," Cleveland said. "It's like 80 to 85-percent right now. I'm still trying to evaluate."
He does not have any other trips planned at this point with his focus on spring ball, but he does have one school he would like to visit.
"I'd like to take a visit to TCU," Cleveland said. "I've been trying to get down there for a minute."
