Cleveland adds SEC offers

Houston (Texas) Westfield four-star wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland has been committed to Texas A&M since October, but college programs continue to pursue him on the recruiting front.
A few SEC programs recently joined his offer list. Mississippi State is the most recent after extending an offer on Monday.

"They're competitive," Cleveland said. "They know how to win ball games. I like their playing style, their offense, and of course it's in the SEC."
LSU and Alabama have also jumped on board.
"Alabama is a great program that wins national championships, put players in the league, and they have great coaches, and they win games," Cleveland said.
"LSU to me is a team that grinds. They go out and compete and try to win games and win another national championship. I feel they have a great coaching staff. Les Miles does a great job with those guys."
Houston is another program coming on strong for Cleveland. The standout receiver attended the Cougars Junior Day on Saturday after claiming Wide Receiver MVP honors at the Rivals Speed and Skill Challenge presented by Under Armour at Westfield High School on Saturday.
Clevland plans to visit Texas A&M on Wednesday with Westfield quarterback Dillon Sterling-Cole, and he is looking forward to returning to College Station.
"I just want to go out there and talk to the coaches," Cleveland said. "It's been a minute since I've been out there. I just want to go out there and talk to coach Sumlin and coach Moorehead and build a connection with them."
As for his commitment to the Aggies, Cleveland feels pretty firm in his decision.
"It's high," Cleveland said. "I'd say about 80 to 75-percent."
