Clemson still team to beat for TE

Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln two-star tight end Craig Gelhardt was scheduled to visit Louisville this weekend, but things have changed.
“I’m going to Louisville on January 16,” Gelhardt, who is 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, said. “Things just changed up for me because of our football schedule.”

Gelhardt has been leaning for some time to Clemson, and that doesn’t appear to have changed.
“I’m still high on Clemson,” Gelhardt said. “I’m excited about an opportunity there. I’m going to visit them on January 9, so I’ll know more after I visit them and check out a few other schools.”
Along with Clemson and Louisville, Tulane, North Carolina and Wake Forest are potential official visit stops.
“Tulane has been by the house to visit me,” he said. “They’ve not offered me yet like Clemson has, but it sounds promising, too.”
