Clemson remains lone offer for DE

While defensive end Jeff Bush has an offer from an ACC school, he feels he deserves and will receive more. Bush is poised for a breakout senior season and may be on the verge of becoming a common name in recruiting circles.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pound defensive end from Fayetteville (N.C.) Jack Britt runs the 40-yard dash in 4.75 seconds.

"I've got a Clemson offer and I'm waiting for others," said Bush. "I think this year I'm going to come out more prepared mentally and physically than I've ever been and show that I'm one of the top players in the state. From the start of the season until the end I'm not going to let up."
Bush said several schools may be waiting to see his grades from his first semester before offering, and Maryland may be on the verge of offering a scholarship as well. Who are his leaders?
"Maryland is moving up my list pretty quickly," he said. "Clemson, UNC, NC State and Virginia are high on my list, about even with Maryland. They were all showing me interest before the summer, but a couple aren't as much now. Things have slowed down with UNC and I'm not sure where things stand with NC State. Clemson is definitely the most interested, which is pretty obvious since they've offered.
"I didn't camp anywhere over the summer, but I don't think I needed to. If I have a great senior season and get things done like I know I can in the classroom everything will work out. I expect to have a couple more offers before too long."
Last year Bush recorded 88 tackles, six sacks, 12 tackles for loss and forced six fumbles, being named honorable mention all-league in the Mid Southeastern Conference.
