Clemson offers 2017 ATH Paschal

After receiving his first scholarship offer from Ohio State last week, 2017 athlete Joshua Paschal added another offer this week. This time the Olney (Md.) Good Counsel standout grabbed an offer from Clemson, a team with ties to his school.
"I think it's pretty good," said the 6-foot-4, 250-pound Paschal. "It's another big school and a different conference. (Former Good Counsel star) Dorian O'Daniel is there now. I haven't talked to him about it yet.

Paschal is just starting to get into recruiting and hasn't taken many visits yet.
"I've never been down that way," he said. "I've been to South Carolina but I had been the Clemson."
The publicity the Clemson has gotten in recent years has caught Paschal's eye.
"I follow the program when Tajh Boyd was there," Paschal said. "You could see them on TV and ESPN."
This fast start hasn't gone to Paschal's head, who is hoping for a diverse group of offers so he can make a well-informed decision.
"It feels good," he said. "More could come in so it will be good to have a variety of schools to choose from for college."
Paschal's brother plays for Kentucky so Paschal, his family and teammate Jordan Anthony will be heading out to Lexington this weekend.
"I'll be in Kentucky this weekend with Jordan for senior night," said Paschal. "I'm expecting a good time but we'll see what happens."
So far this year, Paschal has 12.5 tackles, three sacks, eight tackles for a loss and one forced fumble.
