A Clemson assistant coach stopped by his school and shortly after the coach left, he learned he had an offer from the Tigers. Robertson's teammate and Rivals250 presented by Under Armour tight end Milan Richard is committed to Clemson, so the Tigers already have an in at Savannah Country Day.
"They looked good when they played UGA," Robertson said when asked if he is considering Clemson. "I've been following them since then. They have a good offense too."
Georgia Tech was the first school to offer following his visit to Atlanta for the Yellow Jackets season opening thrashing of Elon.
Last week he was in Athens to check out the 'Dawgs' SEC opener against South Carolina. He enjoyed his visit and is planning a return trip.
"It was nice," Robertson said. "The fans were into it the whole game. I might go back for the LSU game."
He is working to earn a Georgia and he has been in touch with wide receivers coach Tony Ball.
