The Latest: Just a week ago, Brendon Harris wasn't on the recruiting radar of schools, but after a strong camp showing at Clemson, his recruitment is suddenly heating up. Harris' week started off with an offer from the Tigers and quickly picked up offers from SEC schools LSU and South Carolina in short order thereafter. The rangy safety's stock is only likely to go higher, especially considering he has plans to camp at several other schools in the coming weeks.
In His Words: "I can say it's truly a blessing to not only receive an offer from one of the top programs in the country, but it also being my first. It helps to show that hard work will eventually pay off. I can not explain in words the excitement and joy I have for this blessing. My coach sent out my film to many schools Clemson being one and that is when I guess I caught there eye. They later told my coach that they would like for me to attend their camp. I went to their camp on last Wednesday where I feel like I performed very well. I was really impressed with the campus and I believe that all of the amenities available would provide me with a good path for success."
Rivals Reaction: Offers are often like dominoes so when a player like Harris starts to pick up steam it gives staffs around the country to check out his film and decide whether or not he fits what they're looking for. The Tigers made a savvy move by being the first to offer and it's clear they made a good impression on him while he was on campus last week.
