Clemson offer big for 3-star WR

Since being one of Griffin (Ga.) High's primary weapons on its run to a state championship, Class of 2015 wide receiver Keyston Fuller has been fielding plenty of new interest.

One of the most recent schools to join the 6-foot, 180-pound wide out's list is Clemson. The new offer came as a pleasant surprise.
"I was surprised because I walked by the coach at school and we said 'Hey' or whatever, but I didn't know they had plans on offering," Fuller said. "Then my coach told me later I had one. I was happy and I called my mom and she was excited, too."
Fuller was supposed to attend the Tigers' junior day earlier in the month, but couldn't make it because of a conflict. He said getting the offer at his school actually meant more than getting it on a visit.
"I didn't get to go to their junior day, but he came to the school and that made it that much more exciting," Fuller said. "I was around with my friends and stuff and they were asking me about it so that was pretty cool."
The Griffin offense put up big numbers with its offense en route the title, and Fuller said he sees similarities between his school's scheme and the offense the Tigers run.
"I really like their offense," he said. "We run a similar offense at our school so I'd feel pretty comfortable going up there in fitting right in with the offense. Plus I really like Sammy Watkins. He's a guy I try to model my game after."
Fuller has a busy schedule in the spring, but said he's still hoping to squeeze in a few visits.
"I'm going to get up to Duke and Clemson in March, but I have to try to fit in North Carolina and Georgia Tech," he said. "There are other schools trying to get me to visit, but I play baseball, too, so it's kind of tough. But whenever I get an opportunity I want to take it."
