Clemons set to visit South Carolina

Milford (Pa.) Delaware Valley offensive guard Brandon Clemons hasn't traveled too far south thus far in his life, but that's about to change.
Later this week the 6-foot-4, 255-pound Pennsylvanian will be checking out an SEC school for the first time during the recruiting process.

"I'm going to South Carolina on Thursday," Clemons said on Tuesday afternoon. "It's just an unofficial visit. I've been talking to coach Mangus but not a lot. I guess he's been busy with a lot of media stuff."
It will be the furthest south that Clemons has ever traveled so he does not have much of an idea what to expect, except from the little he has heard from others.
"I've heard a lot about the SEC in general but it's my first time going down that far south," he noted.
Clemons said he still has not narrowed his options as of yet. He is sitting on 11 scholarship offers, including one from South Carolina.
He said his trip to South Carolina will probably be his last unofficial visit of the summer. He is not sure whether he will take any official visits or make a decision prior to that time.
