Clement back from LSU

LSU has been the school to host Rivals100 tight end Chase Clement for his two most recent visits and it appears that each time, the talented in-state prospect has walked away impressed with the Tigers.
The 6-foot-5, 240-pounder already drew early scholarship offers from Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, LSU, Oklahoma, and several others. He recently added more within the last few weeks from Maryland, Nebraska, Tulane, and Louisiana Tech. After returning from the LSU spring game this past weekend, he says the time spent for the event was worth it.

"It was awesome," Clement said about the LSU spring game. "We got down there kind of late so I didn't get to meet a lot of people. But, we watched the game and I liked it. (Ryan) Perrilloux really impressed me. I just liked his footwork and how he throws the ball."
When asked to name favorites, Clement says that all of the schools that have offered him are on his early watch list. One of the newer offers, from Louisiana Tech, he's very familiar with.
"Well, my dad lives down in Ruston by the Louisiana Tech campus and my older brother goes to Tech, so I'm familiar with the school," Clement said. "But, all of the school stick out to me."
The one thing Clement won't do is rush a decision. He says that by the summer he'd like to start naming some favorites and either make a commitment before or after the football season.
Next up will be more visits.
"I think my coach and I are planning to head east and see Alabama, Florida, or possibly Ole Miss," Clement said. "I want to see all of my looks and take in the experiences before I make a decision."
