Clearwater CB with three offers

Alex Dixon is a cornerback prospect from Clearwater, Fla. Dixon is a bigger corner at 6-1 and 185 pounds. Last season for Countryside High School he had five interceptions.
"I like playing in man coverage," Dixson said. "I love to play press. I play the run pretty well. I tackle well and can be physical at times."
According to Dixon he has a trio of scholarship offers.

West Virginia, Florida State, and USF have now offered. "I know West Virginia has a good program. I haven't been up there but I will get up there soon. I just know coach (Dave) Johnson (OL coach).
"I have been up to Florida State three times now. I just went to their junior day. It was fun and very organized. They have a lot of nice people there and I like the new defensive coaches.
"The new coaches are real cool at USF. They are very nice and they should do well. I went to their junior day recently."
Is there a leader that stands out among the schools that have offered him?
"Right now I like everyone. Other teams like Ohio State and Auburn are recruiting me hard but haven't offered.
"Academics are big. Playing time of course is big for me. The overall program and the coaching staff will be key as well."
