Clayton Talks About First Visit
"It was wonderful," running back Thomas Clayton said of his official visit to Notre Dame. "I really liked the atmosphere."
"The academics are high. The coaching staff is great. The players are an interesting bunch. Jason Sapp was my host."

"Notre Dame is number one on my list right now."
"But I'm going to visit Penn State, probably sometime in early November. And I have Northwestern November 30th. North Carolina is still December 7th. The fifth spot is open."
Clayton, 6-foot-0 and 197 pounds, has rushed for over 700 yards in four games for Alexandria (Va.) Mount Vernon. He has accounted for over 1200 all-purpose yards.
