Clayton continues to favor one school

Sulphur Springs, Texas safety Keenan Clayton continues to rank one school above the others and he is getting close to having a decision.
“I still really like Oklahoma,” the 6-foot-2, 205-pound Clayton said. “I have felt really good when I’ve been there and talked with the coaches. They have made me feel right at home and like I could fit in easily and possibly get on the field early in my career.”

Clayton is on a little bit of a holding pattern on the recruiting scene right now.
“I am not going to visit any place until this fall,” he said. “I’ve got off-season workouts for my team that I am going through, then I am going on vacation before school starts up. So, I won’t get anywhere before then, and after that, I can line up some official visits if I need to.”
Clayton continues to get a lot of mail from schools. Some of the schools still under consideration are Arkansas, LSU, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Arizona and Kansas State.
“There is always stuff in there, and I look at it. I know quite a bit about most of the schools that are recruiting me. I have been learning a lot from the coaches when they were by the school this spring and then talking with them when they called in May.”
