Clayborn shifts up visits, favorites

After the first official visit was in the books for Webster Groves, Mo., defensive end Adrian Clayborn, he still had at least two more scheduled visits to check out, but now things appear to be back up in the air.
Nothing has been changed just yet, but the four-star, No. 3 rated defensive end prospect in the country may be shifting up his visits and decision time-frame. In fact, Clayborn's favorites list has also changed quite a bit.

"I think Nebraska is my No. 1 right now after the trip," Clayborn said. "The rest are even after that. I'm going to take my visits to Missouri, Illinois, and Texas Tech though so I'm a long ways off. I feel strongly about my favorite, but I want to compare the other schools to it."
Clayborn admits he was close to a commitment, but had to speak with his family first.
"There was a time or two when I felt like I wanted to commit on my first visit, but I wanted to talk to my mom and see what else compared to the trip," Clayborn said. "I thought about it, but I figured I'd come back home and think about it."
His Missouri official visit is set for Dec. 2 but that date may change.
"I don't know for sure after Texas Tech how things line up," Clayborn said. "I'm not sure if Missouri is going to be Dec. 2 or Dec. 9 right now. I'm going to go on my next visit and figure it out from there."
