Claybon waiting for his turn

Everybody is well aware of his wide receiver target, Rivals100 member Dez Bryant. However, Lufkin, Texas dual-threat quarterback Jeremy Claybon is going to be a hot prospect on the recruiting radar for 2007 himself.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound athlete has not received any offers yet like his offensive counterpart, but is patiently awaiting No. 1 with the tons of mail he's been receiving. Claybon isn't getting tense about the situation. In fact, he and his family are taking it easy for spring break before school and visits gets kicked back up again.

"Actually, we're in Hawaii right now," Claybon said. "It's been crazy here. We just decided to go about a week ago. I've been to Texas A&M's junior day and I'm trying to go to Texas Tech, Florida State, and Oklahoma State next when I get back."
"A&M went real well. I liked it a lot. The coaches were nice and they had a lot of stuff going on that weekend."
Since he was young, Claybon says that he has always liked Texas. Though he hasn't received much yet, he's hoping to get more.
"I just like that program," he said about UT. "Everything from their playbook to how they develop players, I like."
Claybon is planning a trip to Austin this summer for the Longhorns camp and also a stop at OSU for theirs.
"Oklahoma State and Indiana have been sending the most," Claybon said. "They've been both sending me a lot over the last few weeks. I called up the coaches and they have just been telling me how good there program is. They haven't spoken about an offer yet."
