Clax waiting to take visits

Freehold, N.J. linebacker Jazzmar Clax was starting to set up official visits last month. Now, the 6-foot-0, 239-pounder is putting everything on hold because of the season.
"I'll probably get to the visits when I'm done, after the season," he said. "Right now I'm just focusing on winning a state championship.

"I'll set those things up when I have free time. I'm just waiting to make my decision."
Clax noted that Arizona State, Minnesota and Maryland stand out at this time, but he is keeping an open mind as he just sent out his midseason highlight tape.
"A lot of schools are requesting it," he said. "I know a bunch of different schools are interested, but all that information goes through my coach."
With recruiting taking a back seat, Clax discussed the year.
"Everything is going good," he said. "We are heading into another big week towards the playoffs.
"I'm a lot faster this year and a lot more explosive. I'm still a field general and making things happen."
