Class of 2006 star to announce

Youngstown (Ohio) Cardinal Mooney standout Derrell Johnson, the one highly recruited senior in the Buckeye state that has yet to sign a national letter of intent, says he will talk about things on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-2 and 185-pound Johnson, who played quarterback for Mooney during his senior season but is being recruited as a wide receiver, made an official visit to Ohio State and took in the Buckeyes' spring game.

"I was there," Johnson said. "But I'm not allowed to talk about anything till Tuesday. (But) it was an official visit."
Johnson, who was hosted by Brian Robiskie while in Columbus, had previously made offial visits to West Virginia, Syracuse, and Cincinnati.
When asked how he liked his visit to Ohio State, Johnson again said, "I'm not allowed to talk about it till Tuesday."
Johnson is an outstanding athlete who played slotback his sophomore year at Campbell Memorial. He played quarterback for Memorial during his junior season before transferring to Mooney.
Johnson could put the finishing touches on the Buckeyes recruiting class of 2006.
