Clarke makes his decision
Vanderbilt picked up a verbal commitment this past weekend from a south Florida cornerback in Steven Clarke. Clarke, 5-10 and 180 pounds, is from Lauderale Lakes, Florida.
"I committed to Vanderbilt on Sunday," Clarke said. "I visited there this past weekend. Vandy is a great place. I love the environment, the players and the coaches. It's just a great place.

"I think I can make an impact there as a freshman. They need help at cornerback."
Clarke recorded 87 tackles, four interceptions, a fumble recovery and had 17 pass breakups this past season.
"I like to be a physical corner. I love bump and run and I like when a receiver challenges me. That's another reason why I love Vandy. It's the SEC.
"It feels great to make a decision. The pressure if off."
