Clark looking around

Miami (Fla.) Archbishop Carroll three-star cornerback Leroy Clark currently claims offers from Florida, Florida International, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi State, Purdue, and West Virginia. He is also drawing interest from Alabama, Boston College, Florida State, and Miami. He says everyone is on equal ground at this point in his recruitment.
"I am just looking around right now," Clark said. "I don't have any top schools."

While everyone is sitting even, Clark says that he has developed the best relationship with the staff of a Big 12 school.
"I have a good relationship with West Virginia," Clark said. "I am talking a lot with Coach (Robert) Gillespie."
The 5-foot-10, 169-pound cornerback has also been in regular contact with Alabama. The Crimson Tide have yet to offer but hope to have the South Florida prospect on campus in early June for a session of the Nick Saban Football Camps.
"I have been hearing from them a lot," Clark said. "I hope they do offer me. I am supposed to go to their camp in a few weeks. They want to see me there."
Alabama isn't the only school that Clark would like to see this summer.
"I want to take a few visits this summer," Clark said. "I haven't scheduled anything else yet. I think I am going to go to Florida. I also would like to see Purdue to see how it is."
When it comes time to make a decision, Clark says that he will look heavily into the academic offerings of his top choices.
"Education is a big thing," Clark said. "I don't know what major I am going to be doing, but I want a school that offers a good opportunity when it comes to school."
Clark shared no specific timeline for making a decision.
As a junior, he recorded 13 interceptions.
