Clark has early options

Sebastian (Fla.) Sebastian River outside linebacker James Clark has collected early offers from Auburn, Florida International, Ole Miss, Rutgers, South Florida, and Western Kentucky. He is hearing from some of those as well as others that have yet to extend an offer.
"I have been talking to a lot of schools," Clark said. "I have heard from Iowa, FAU, FIU, South Florida - those are just some of the schools I have heard from lately."

One in-state school in particular has been in regular contact with the 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker.
"I talk to the coaches at the University of South Florida a lot," Clark said. "South Florida has been giving me a lot of attention."
In recent months, Clark hasn't been able to hit the road for any visits. Last time he visited a college was during the 2011 season.
"I went to a game at Florida last season," Clark said. "I liked the excitement. The team was just real hyped on the field. The crowd was insane."
At this stage of the process, the Sunshine State prospect doesn't claim a leader.
"Not really yet," Clark said. "I just want to find a place that is going to best benefit me."
As a junior, he recorded 52 tackles including 19 tackles for loss and eight sacks.
