Clark eyes SEC schools

Denton (Texas) Ryan defensive end Sekou Clark caught the eye of college recruiters before his sophomore season. The interest has come from across the country and he has already attended a few junior day events.
"I went to a few junior days," Clark said. "I went to Baylor's junior day, LSU's junior day, and Kansas State's this past weekend. I was planning on going to SMU's. I got invited to Mississippi State and Georgia Tech. I got invited to a lot of far schools but I couldn't make it out there."

Out of all his junior day visits, there was one trip that stands out in his mind.
"LSU's did," Clark said. "I really liked coach (Steve) Ensminger up there. He was a real cool guy. I also liked the d-line coach, he seems cool. I really liked the coaching staff."
When it comes to the recruiting process another SEC school also has his attention.
"(Texas) A&M is definitely a school that has my attention," Clark said. "When I took out there for the Arkansas game I fell in love with the coaching staff and the atmosphere around there. It seemed like a place I could go and never leave. I went to another game, the LSU game, and I was planning on taking another trip out there this spring to walk around the campus and see what it's like."
At this point in the process he is still waiting for his first offer, but believes he could see the action pick up soon.
"[Schools] are saying they're going to come out and see me at Ryan in the spring and maybe offer me there," Clark said.
