Citra RB/CB gaining interest

A prospect to keep an eye on is Jermaine Thomas, an athlete from North Marion High School in Citra, Fla. Thomas made a few camps this summer and is currently hearing from several schools.
Miami, Florida, Vanderbilt, Louisville, Troy State, and Southern Miss were just a few schools that placed phone calls to Jermaine Thomas during the month of May and he continues to receive regular correspondence from those schools and others this summer.

"Miami writes me a lot, like twice a week," Thomas said. "Florida writes like twice a week. Vanderbilt writes like four or five times a week and so does Southern Miss. Louisville writes like four or five times a week."
Thomas is waiting for his first scholarship offer but he does have an idea of a top five.
"Miami, Florida, South Florida, Louisville, and Florida State," Thomas said.
Thomas is being recruited as an athlete and is a tailback, cornerback, and return specialist in high school. He was named to the All Area team on defense last season after tallying 24 solo tackles and three interceptions.
"I was also the backup tailback last year and I had 27 carries for 274 yards," Thomas said.
Jermaine Thomas attended football camps at Florida and USF this summer. He lists a forty-yard dash time of 4.46 seconds and a 3.3 grade point average.
