Cincinnati offer gives Georgia DB Tre Person something to think about

The Latest: Class of 2017 Georgia Southern commit Tre Person has remained solid to the Eagles since committing last year, but schools from the country have been making it hard on him as of late. Since the end of the regular season, Person has netted several offers, the most recent of which came from Cincinnati. Rivals.com caught up with Person to get his thoughts on the Bearcats, his commitment status and plans for official visits.

In His Words: "It definitely gives me another option with the new staff being there and everything. I think I might take an official visit on Jan. 27 but it's not set in stone yet. I'm still committed to Georgia Southern so that's something I have to think about. I didn't get a chance to see them play this year, I just know of the new coaching staff they have coming in have a lot of Ohio State guys and I think they might be a good change to the program."

Rivals Reaction: The Bearcats are casting a wide net when it comes to defensive backs in the state of Georgia, having offered at least three in the past week, including Person's teammate Chris Bacon. The fact that he's committed adds in another wrinkle, but if he elects to take an official visit all bets could be off.
