Cincinnati gives Dennis his first offer

Orlando (Fla.) Olympia defensive end Ramar Dennis has landed his first verbal offer.
"Cincinnati is my only offer so far," Dennis said. "It was a great feeling to get that first one. I didn't know nothing about them at first. My coach just told me they offered. To get the first one was exciting."

Since receiving the offer, Dennis has had a little communication with an assistant coach on Butch Jones' staff.
"I talked to Coach (Mark) Elder a few weeks ago," Dennis said. "That is about it though. He just told me to make sure I keep my grades up and that they would be back during the spring."
The Bearcats aren't the only school in the picture for the 6-foot-2, 225-pound defensive lineman.
"I am getting interest from Connecticut, Louisville, USF, Northwestern, and Duke," Dennis said.
He plans to hit the road next weekend and take a Junior Day visit.
"I am taking a visit to USF on the 12th," Dennis said. "I have been talking to them some.
There is another in-state school that Dennis would love to hear from.
"I am from Tallahassee, so Florida would be amazing," Dennis said. "I lived there until like 2006 or 2007."
As a junior, Dennis recorded 106 total tackles, eight sacks and three fumble recoveries.
