Defensive end Roderick Chungong of Olney (Md.) Our Lady of Good Counsel has maintained a busy schedule, which included a visit to Rutgers for their spring game. Chungong is planning at least one more visit and is also claiming an early leader.
"I went to Rutgers on Saturday," said Chungong, who is 6-foot-3 and 250-pounds. "It was really good. It was better than I thought."
Chungong attended the spring game with his uncle and a family friend.

"I was impressed with their values and how the head coach wanted to get to know me as a person more than a football player," said Chungong.
While he does not have any further plans finalized at this time, Chungong is hoping to set up a visit with Michigan State soon. And with offers from schools like Michigan State, Rutgers, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Illinois, Mississippi State, Duke, Virginia, Stanford and UCF, Chungong mentioned that Georgia Tech and Rutgers are currently recruiting him the hardest.
While he goes through his recruiting process, there are a few things he is looking for in a school.
"The atmosphere, education, playing time, the defensive line coach is important and also the strength and conditioning coach," said Chungong.
Finally, the defensive end was asked if he had a leader at this point of his process.
"Georgia Tech is number one so far," he said.
