It's getting down to decision making time for Longview (Texas) Pine Tree three-star athlete Caleb Chumley.
Will he play quarterback in college, or choose to try tight end or receiver? Where will he take his official visits? Which college program will he sign with on signing day?
These are a few of the decisions on Chumley's plate, and with signing day growing closer, he knows he has to start answering a few of them them.
First things first, where will he take his official visits?
"I sat him down this week and I said let's go ahead and get everything lined up," Pine Tree assistant Jeremy Orsagh said. "Him and his mom are supposed to be getting back to me over the break as far as getting everything lined up."
Right now it appears as if Missouri will receive a visit, as will Louisiana Tech and North Texas. Oklahoma State has also entered the race and it appears as if the Cowboys could also receive an official visit.
"As far as offers go, from the beginning of the season until now, the only person that has popped up and shown a lot of interest has been Oklahoma State," Orsagh said. "They brought him up for the Baylor game, and his mom loved Stillwater and he really liked it. They really like him. They said they're looking for a big receiver-type guy and he was No. 1 on the radar. They didn't offer him while he was there, but liked him. I think they're still doing some film evaluation."
The Cowboys have not offered, but they did let him know they would like for him to take an official visit while he was in Stillwater for his unofficial visit.
Memphis is also a team to watch as the recruiting process heads towards signing day.
Chumley has not scheduled any official visits, but each program has continued to express an interest in him taking an official visit according to Orsagh.
Chumley has not hosted any college coaches on in-home visits at this point.
