Christian Brothers features two for 2008

Syracuse (N.Y.) Christian Brothers features two prospects in the 2008 class in wide receiver Marcus Sales and offensive guard Tarral Holland. Both players are already starting to receive interest from colleges across the country.
Certainly the star of the junior class is 6-foot-2, 180-pound receiver Sales.

"I know a lot of people are going to offer him right away when they can next month," Christian Brothers head coach Joe Casamento said. "I think Syracuse, Pittsburgh and North Carolina likely will. I know Ohio State doesn't usually do that, but they seem very interested."
What makes Sales stand out as a prospect?
"I see him all the time and he looks so smooth when he's running. It doesn't even look like he's trying," he said. "Marcus also has phenomenal speed around a 4.5-second 40-yard dash and great ball skills. He'll be a tremendous player and is still just a puppy."
Meanwhile, the 6-foot-4, 265-pound Holland is just starting to receive interest.
"I know the I-AA schools are very excited about him, but I think he could be a I-A guy," Casamento said. "He's a nasty kid that is big, strong and powerful. He is still learning, but he's got an attitude despite being just a first year player.
"He literally started with us a year ago and couldn't do anything. I can say I've never seen a kid improve that fast in a year, but he's gaining confidence, improving his strength and is a very hard worker. I think he could be a good player not only along the offensive line, but on defense too."
