Christensen drawing plenty of visitors
Quarterback Jake Christensen , a 6-foot-2 and 195 pounder from Lockport, Ill., threw for 3681 yards during his junior season. Christensen had 33 touchdown passes and was intercepted just seven times. He also rushed for close to 400 yards.
Christensen, the son of former NFL quarterback Jeff Christensen, is one of the Midwests top quarterback prospects. And recruiters are flocking to Lockport to check on him.

"So far Iowa coaches, Arkansas' quarterback coach, Illinois and Northwestern have come to my school," Christensen said. "Ohio State is going to be here. And Michigan State. Purdue and Nebraska are coming."
"And Wisconsin has been to the school."
"The Ohio State quarterback coach said he would be here sometime in May. Georgia is coming up next week to offer."
"Arkansas, Illinois, Northwestern, and Michigan State all offered."
"I've been to junior days at Iowa, Notre Dame, Purdue, Northwestern, Illinois, and Michigan."
