Chris Marks Makes His Decision

Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman tight end Chris Marks has committed to New Mexico. Marks is the second player from Gorman to announce for the Lobos joining quarterback Steven Harris who committed earlier in the month.
Marks, 6-6, 235 pounds is a player we liked at the NorCal Nike Camp where he clocked a 4.72 in the 40, 4.61 in the shuttle and did 22 reps on the bench. He’s a big target who can run and is a solid pickup for the Lobos.
“Chris just committed yesterday,” Bishop Gorman head coach David White said. “It was a tough last few days deciding between Oregon and New Mexico, but he developed a great relationship with the coaches at New Mexico and will have an earlier opportunity to play at New Mexico than Oregon. He also had offers from Wyoming, Montana, San Jose State and Portland State.”
