Chino LB one to watch

Chino, Calif., has one of Southern California’s top defenses. While the super talented Sedric Ellis is the marquee player for Chino, linebacker
">Kenny Williams is also one to keep an eye on.

Williams stands 6-1 ½, weighs 220 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.72 seconds. He benches 315 pounds and squats 425 pounds.
As previously mentioned, Chino plays great defense. To prove the point, Chino had seven players who accounted for more than 100 tackles. How's that for gang tackling? Williams was fourth on the team in tackles with a total of 107.
The scouting report on Williams is he flies around the field and makes plays. He has excellent quickness to the ball and tremendous vision.
Williams has great leadership ability and intelligence. He has already been named the team’s captain for his senior season. Because of his leadership and intelligence, Williams will call the defensive plays in 2002.
Somewhat overlooked by his higher profiled teammate, Williams should end up being a very high profiled recruit when it is all said and done.
Cal, Oregon State, San Diego State and New Mexico have been showing interest in Williams.
Definitely a player to watch this fall…
