Childs now at two offers

Kissimmee (Fla.) Osceola cornerback Hassan Childs picked up his first offer a couple of weeks ago. On Thursday, his offer list grew to two.
"N.C. State was the first school to offer me," Childs said. "I saw in my mail today that FIU was offering me."

At this stage of the process, the 6-foot-1, 170-pound defensive back has only spoken with a staff member at N.C. State.
"I talked to Coach Mike Reed from N.C. State," Childs said. "He just said that they watched my highlight film and that I would be a good fit for his school."
Childs, who is also drawing interest from Cincinnati, Rutgers, South Carolina, and UCF, has yet to take any visits.
"I was supposed to go to UCF this weekend but I am participating in a 7-on-7 so I can't," Childs said. "I don't have anything scheduled after this weekend."
As a junior, Childs says he recorded around 100 tackles and had four interceptions.
